 ☄ First Impressions ♚ VISUAL: With his 5'5" stature and a blond hair and green eyes combo to go combined his boyish features, Theo isn't exactly the most intimidating of his squadmates, but his biting sarcasm often takes away from whatever cuteness his appearance may afford him. By default, Theo will be coming in his desert camouflage fatigues! ♚ DEMEANOUR: Prickly and sharp-tongued with something of a temper, Theo comes off as fairly aloof and grumpy at first glance, and isn't the type to hold back when it comes to stating what's on his mind. Much like your typical surly teenager, he also has a tendency to be sarcastic or a contrarian at points, but he simultaneously can be quite transparent with his emotions when he's having fun or genuinely surprised. ♚ SOUND: Theo's Japanese VA is Natsumi Fujiwara and his English VA is Casey Mongillo. Besides being very blunt with his delivery, he's quite casual and profanity often makes its way into his speech. ♚ SCENT: Plain soap, with the faint smell of dust and paint from his uniform. ♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION:N/A ☄ OOC ♚ BACKTAGGING: I prioritize the current week's threads, but I'll always try and backtag as much as possible! Also, if there's a thread I dropped and you'd like to pick it up again, feel free to contact me then too! ♚ FOURTHWALLING: I'd prefer not! ♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Go for it, although his reaction can range from flustered to somewhat standoffish depending on who's doing it and what's happening. ♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Sure! He does know how to fight and can defend himself pretty well, but he also has a lot of factors working against him too, so he's definitely not impossible to take down. If we decide to go into an extended fight thread though, I'd prefer you hit me up so we can just hash out the details! ♚ RELATIONSHIPS: It's a three-week game, so he's probably not all that likely to get close enough to someone to strike up a relationship with someone, but I'm down to roll with whatever if the CR clicks! ☄ Opt-Outs ♚ SENSITIVE TOPICS: 86 is a canon about child soldiers that were forcibly interned, then subsequently conscripted at a young age and shipped to fight in a war by a country that has stripped them of all human rights and freedoms. Large-scale systemic discrimination and the impacts of war are major themes in the series, so topics such as child abuse, bigotry, genocide, euthanasia and suicide/suicidal ideation could potentially come up in threads. Given that Theo is rather blunt, he's also not necessarily going to treat his own situation as a child soldier all that tactfully, so he's not likely to sugarcoat or dodge around stating the unpleasant facts. I do also want to note that Theo does use the equivalent of a racialized slur ("white pig") to refer to the people of his (now rather homogenized) home country, who have been oppressing them for the past several years. I will always include a CW if the conversation veers in any of these directions, but please let me know if you'd rather opt-out of any of the specifics mentioned above or if you would like to opt-out of interacting with Theo entirely!
